Bournemouth Bee-Sieged

Item: On 23 May Bournemouth pier was attacked by a swarm of bees.
Item: On the 24^th, a jetliner taking off from the town was forced to land after bees dive-bombed the engines.

Coincidence or the first reel of a horrifying Quatermass episode?
