Aged Clam
Scientists in Bangor, Wales claim to have discovered a clam over 400 years old.This is not surprising, as I am positive I've been served clams that old in a restaurant in Eastbourne back in '92.

I wonder how one determines the age of a clam. Rings in the shell? Carbon dating the calcium carbonate? Parish records?
