Bath time has never been
easier-- assuming you don't mind risking a six-foot fall to the
bathroom floor.
Unveiled at Expo '70 in Osaka,
Japan, 1970, the Sanyo Ultrasonic Bath or the "human washing machine"
(that is, a washing
machine for humans) took all that low-tech tedium of going at it with
soap and loofah and replaced it with state of the art automated
ablutions. Just climb into the top of the machine (assuming that
you have a twelve-foot high bathroom ceiling), set the temperature,
and the machine's ultrasonics gently produced heaps of lather.
Soaks, washes, rinses, dries, and massages; the Sanyo Ultrasonic did
it all. The spin cycle was
apparently beyond words. |
