Not
to be outdone by a namby pamby terrestrial airline, Stanley Kubrick in
2001: a Space Odyssey went for the definitive space hostess
looks, with a stylish jumpsuit with matching crash helmet and velcro
booties for freefall and a charming pink number that wouldn't have
looked out of place at Idlewild Airport anytime during the Kennedy
administration. |
For
the gentlemen, Kubrick went for a more classic look; such as with this
silver spacesuit model suitable for work, play, and perusing the
latest version of Playboy while making the the ladies present
distinctly uncomfortable.The enormous fly
was, however, a dramatic statement that Nasa was reluctant to follow. |
