Pan's People
Not much of a contest. |
To show that they were hep
with the cool cats and dug the scene, Hammer booked the Go Jos; the
first dance group featured on Top of the Pops, where their job was
to dance to the week's hit tunes when the artists couldn't be
bothered to show up and do a proper lip synch. Almost
forgotten today, the Go Jos were soon overshadowed by their
replacements, Pan's People, who pretty much patented sex and
jump-started many a young man's puberty.
Pop music is a cruel mistress.
