The Moon Bar at the Moon Hilton is the most popular drinking establishment on the satellite.   That probably has something to do with the fact that it's the only drinking establishment.

It certainly isn't because of the drinks.  With Scotch going for $30 a shot, most of the cocktails are based on the alcohol distilled out of rocket fuel and mixed with whatever vegetable juice is going cheap from the hydroponics gardens.  The bad news is that all the drinks come courtesy of a high-tech machine that dispenses the libation of choice in a manner devoid of the human touch.  The good news is that you probably won't go blind until chucking out time.

The management also has a mania for "theme" weeks, so the drinks change names more often than some people change underwear.  A Moon Flower becomes Old Fashioned Pampas Punch which becomes a Buffalo Stampede.  Whatever the name, it's still distilled rocket fuel.

Maybe that's why the Moon Bar has seen some pretty spectacular bar fights in its day.
