the robot, though I sometimes wonder why he bothered. The brain
in a box spent most of its time being, well, a brain in a box; and the
android and Grag's contribution to proceedings was an endless stream
of bickering that was about as "funny" as the banter found in the
pages of Doc Savage.
Yes, centuries of
technological progress results in having one machine kvetching with
another!
In later years, Grag
started to lose it. One can only take so much second banana
stuff before it starts to get to you. Before you could say
"diode" he was clutching space babes with the best of them and blazing away in seedy cosmic
nightclubs like a cut-rate cupric Cagney.
