Future Transport

Transportation isn't just about getting between cities and continents; it's about getting between floors as well. That's why the 1962 Seattle World's Fair featured the incredible, awe-inspiring lift of the future: The Bubblelator. Why bother having a load of little lifts carrying a dozen passengers when you can have one big one that carries a hundred people at a time? Better yet, have constant futuristic music playing.

That's one way of getting the punters moving.

The controls for the Bubblelator were... interesting. A careful study of them reveals two things:

1) The builder of the control panel had seen Forbidden Planet one too many times.
2) The operator was going to have a word with the uniform designer that involved emphasising points through liberal applications of a baseball bat.
